The Best Part of Break-ups

Heartbreak

Now just picture this :
In one fine afternoon, you and you’re amazing girlfriend are in the house watching some episodes of her previously missed favorite TV drama. and then you go to the bedroom to get something. But alas! FIRE! you spot a burning flame near the red laundry basket. You panic and try to put out with no avail.
You run back to the bedroom and shout to her on the new danger you’re facing;
“Babe there’s fire and I need your help!”
Without looking at you, “Never-mind I’m watching something interesting now .”
You look again what she’s watching for a minute, but the burning smell comes swinging to the living room. You ask “Can you smell something?”
She turns to you, “Smell what? ain’t seeing nothing.”
The smell grows and it gets worse and worse. The air thickens with a light smoke.
You check the bedroom again and now you see the fire is real. You try blowing out but nothing is changing. In fact the flames are getting bigger and bigger. “Babe there’s real fire. Let’s get the fucking out of here right now!”
She stands up and shouts, “What are you even talking about? You’re so crazy!”
You keep throwing things and pouring water at the little growing fire. You can still see the danger, “BABE WE NEED TO RUN OUT. THIS SHIT IS REAL.”
She fiercely throws tantrums and sarcastically says “You’re becoming crazier and need to see a doctor. Calm down.”
Now smoke has crept into the living room in full swing and you wonder, “Don’t you see the smoke???” pointing out to the ceiling and everywhere.
She literally ignore you. Still glued on the TV. “HELLOO!” She doesn’t give a damn fuck.
Fire has spread to all the corners of the house now. And fierce flames lash out across the living room. You scream, “Hun we need to RUN OUT!!”
She continues ignoring you and minding her damn drama episodes. You wonder whether she is alright and try to switch off the tellies. She gets angry.
You try to grab her so that you can both run outside. She jerks her hand saying “Don’t touch me.”
You move to go out but the doorknob won’t give way. You try it again and again but somehow the door looks sealed!
The smoke is now full blown and you start coughing her due to lack of oxygen. You cry, “PLEASE HELP…HELP…BABE COME HERE.”
She yells “DON’T YELL AT ME. EVER. A$$HOLE.”
You grab the old porcelain pot closest to you and smash the window glass.
She gets super angry now, “You are fucking idiot!”
And you drop to your knees , gasping for fresh air.
She angrier and yells, “You fucking broke my precious gift from grandma. You’re fucking MORON!”
You cough heavily and start, “Baby we are going to die. HELP.”
“So now you’re threatening me?” She barks.
You cough harder, pulling you t-shirt over your mouth, “You have lost you mind babe.”
She shouts, “I have LOST MY MIND? ME?”
She shakes her head, “You know what? This is over. I CAN’T be with you anymore.”
You can barely breathe, almost unconscious, “That’s fine. We will die.”
Suddenly, she vanishes, and out of the blue your front door widely opens.
You crawl yourself out of the door and using your back roll onto the lawn.
You’re alive. The fresh air in your lungs is so sweet. life is yours again.
Sitting up in the lawn, you watch your house disappearing into inferno and dust of hot ashes flown away by the blowing wind.
Breakups suck. Breakups are hard. Most of us have gone through or will.
But sure enough, that escape feels so sweet.
